Board Certified
Colorectal Surgeons

Our doctors are Board Certified Colon and Rectal Surgeons. This means they have trained for at least 5 years in general surgery residency followed by an additional year in colon and rectal surgery fellowship. They have met all the requirements of the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Although our doctors can fully evaluate and diagnose any colon, rectal or anal condition, they narrow the scope of their practice to the office and surgical management of anorectal conditions (Proctology). This focus translates to an optimum patient experience when dealing with these common disorders.

Dealing with Hemorrhoids

Although they are very common, hemorrhoids and their symptoms are often misdiagnosed and confused with other disorders. Furthermore, dealing with hemorrhoids can be difficult and embarrassing. A stress-free, comfortable consultation with our doctors can help to alleviate your discomfort and concerns.

While offering the latest in surgical approaches, we specialize in non-operative office management of hemorrhoids. Most patients are relieved to realize their hemorrhoids can be treated without surgery.

Cancer Screening

More than 148,000 new cases of colorectal cancers are diagnosed each year in the United States.

Colonoscopy remains the best test to screen asymptomatic patients (usually by age 50) and diagnose symptomatic patients for precancerous polyps or cancer.  In most instances polyps can be removed at the time of the test.

Our doctors offer colonoscopies utilizing comforting sedation with trained anesthesia staff in both office- and hospital-based endoscopy center settings.

Patients First
Philosophy

Saleeby and Wessels is a physician-owned private practice, which means we account to our patients first. We take pride in offering multiple avenues of care (hospitals, surgery centers, endoscopy units and office care), to give options and convenience to our patients.

By avoiding facility fees or hospital charges on top of the doctor’s bill, our office provides affordable visits for patients regardless of insurance. For procedures done outside of our office (i.e.: hospitals, surgery centers, endoscopy units), normal facility fees apply.
